So true Jenny! I almost wonder if it will seem even less possible now to find saints since social media can document our entire lives! I believe in God and that he calls us to be saints so I’m sure we’re still forming them in the world! Lord save them from the media who revels in picking apart lives. I think you’re well on your way Jenny! Your commitment to bible teach alone is a huge inspiration and a much needed ministry!

I love this post Jenny – who I am to judge anyone? I just thank God for God’s love and forgiveness…Official or not – to my mind you’re already a saint Jenny…and all those parents like you!

I’ve heard that her “dark night” had come under fire by some ~ a lack of consolation for some 50 years or so?? (forgive me for not researching that as fact) If she did experience that, it would seem to me that she would be better equipped to truly understand the abandoned that she loved and served. Don’t we all love it when someone really understands our suffering? That doesn’t mean that we can’t comfort or encourage or admonish someone if we haven’t, but let’s face it, it’s much more effective when we have. But the world does not understand God’s ways.

Everything we do and suffer ~ even our sinfulness and waywardness ~ God will use to love and help others. You know if it were Heaven now, we wouldn’t need it, but it’s not yet and people are lost and confused and need our mistakes and trials to help them.

Do you know what I say to the skeptics? I understand. The little girl from Miracles From Heaven said, “They’ll get there when they get there.”

Oh, and I’m definitely weird!! Just ask my mom. She told me that once in middle school and I stopped talking for almost the entire year!
