As the month goes on, this month of writing on Bible verses about patience-my patience is being tested by circumstances…figures! But I have a combat plan and isn’t listening to St. Paul who tells me “not to worry.” Well, it kind of is, but telling me not to worry is like telling you not to think of an apple. What did you just think about? An apple!

The more Bible quotes about patience I read and work through, the more I realize the root cause of impatience is pride–I lack humility. This verse even challenged me on how I close doors or set down my purse when struggling with impatience.

In Bible verses about patience, Romans 12:12 sums it all up with some key words: joy/hope, patient/affiliation, faithful/prayer. These groups of words, these attitudes of the heart and mind, are the keys to patience.
