30 Days of Thanksgiving–26

I issued this challenge the other day on my Daily affirmations of Gratitude post. I invited you all to start a gratitude list this week, Monday through Friday, listing 20 items per day for a total of 100 by Friday. I invited you to journal them, put them in a Word document or list them daily in the comments of my 30 Days of Thanksgiving blog posts. If you missed the announcement you can do one of two things–start today and have 60!! items on your list by Friday or start today and double up to still get to 100. Win-Win either way.

30 Days of Thanksgiving

373. Helping Bernadette move Alpaca’s around (I opened a gate)

374. Seeing a receptionist in a doctor’s office treat an elderly (born in 1926) man with so much patience and kindness

375. German cookies in the mail from my dad

376. Lucy being in the chicken coop and not getting a chicken for dinner

377. Having some vanilla on hand to loan my neighbor

378. Chris sending me pictures by text of him hunting with the kids

379. Getting a few Christmas presents wrapped already (normally I wrap them all Christmas Eve–ugh!)

380. Having the time and money to run to Supercuts

381. Chick-Fil-a’s Cobb salad

382. Fed-X leaving a box on the other side of the fence so Lucy won’t eat it

383. Hearing my girls practice their Christmas music on the piano

384. Helping Bernadette decide what to wear for work

385. The gift of blogging

386. Seeing the moon and stars in the sky

387. Red painted nails

388. Kind of sleeping a little late today

389. Baked chicken sitting in the fridge to go on top of a salad

390. The thought of being in the kitchen with my children

391. The sound of Chris’ truck as it pulls down the drive

392. Being able to remember a time when stores were CLOSED ALL DAY AND NIGHT for Thanksgiving

Each day there is more encouragement and even some laughs over on my Facebook page. Head over and “Like” me there for more.

As you begin or finish up your Christmas shopping, please remember if you click my Amazon links <> it helps offset the cost to run The Littlest Way and or buy another book for our Book Club Time.

Sleep – that’s a good theme! Thank God for an early night last night!

Every year, my goal is to get my Christmas gifts wrapped early. “Wrap as you go,” I’ve heard is good advice. But I have yet to be successful … Maybe this year, but I’m not holding my breath! I am glad you got to sleep in a bit! 🙂
